About Revata Carbon Revata Carbon is a Singapore-based industrial climate-tech company building businesses around agricultural residues in Africa. Our activities span biomass trading, biochar, carbon projects and industrial processing assets. We are looking for a Management Trainee – Business & Operations to join our team in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to learn how businesses are built and operated on the ground in Africa. What you will do The Management Trainee will rotate across four areas: Biomass Trading & Operations – Procurement, logistics, inventory, MIS, cost control and profitability. Identify operational leakages, build processes and implement solutions.Sales & Business Development – Develop markets for biochar and other biomass products, including customer development, trials, pricing and commercial execution.Origination & New Business – Identify new feedstocks, markets and projects; conduct market analysis and build business cases and financial models.Industrial Assets – Gain exposure to development and operation of biochar and biomass processing assets, including project economics, procurement and performance improvement. Who we are looking for MBA graduate / final-year MBA studentFresh graduates welcome; 1–3 years of experience is an advantageStrong analytical, Excel and problem-solving skillsAble to build dashboards, processes and systems independentlyHands-on, entrepreneurial and comfortable working with limited structureStrong English; French is preferred but not mandatoryWilling to travel and work on the groundGenuinely interested in relocating to Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire You should be equally comfortable analysing costs in Excel and visiting a factory, warehouse, supplier or customer to understand what is actually happening on the ground. The role will work closely with Revata’s leadership, with the long-term objective of developing high-performing Management Trainees into future business leaders within the company.
